It a very tedious process to change the names in the e-ticket. Please contact the irctc customer care for more details.

Sir ,

My friend had booked a ticket for me( Ladies ) . But by mistake he had booked in another person s name ( male) . Actually it was meant for me .
So is there any provision to transfer the same ticket into my name .

Journey : boarding from Majestic , Bangalore Railway Station on 9 : 30 PM , 3 â€“ july â€“ 2009 and getting down at Ernakulam , Kerala .

Is there any provision to change the name and transfer it to me ?

Please reply at the earliest . So that I can arrange my travel accordingly .
For Railway Travel related enquires , with which number should I contact ?

irctc server often seems to be bogged down by a large number of requests. Until they add more capacity, try again is the name of the game.

I wanted to book a ticket for my friend through irctc.co.in to-day and wanted to pay by his SBI ATM debit card but I don't know what mistake I did that the payment could not be done and also this website is not being further opened. Please help me in this matter. Thanks you yours A.K.SINGH
