Mr.Basavarij,as you are aspiring to become an IPS officer,you should take civil service exam conducted by UPSC yearly.for that you should be thorough in general studies,and any of the two optionals out of 24 given by UPSC.The will be of three phased,prelims mains and personal interview.once if you appeared in the exams,you are given with the service you desires according to your rank.Thank you.
