Www.irctc.co.in provides all type services related to train ticket booking including Online booking, Reservation Enquiries, PNR Enquiry, Train Enquiry, Train/Fare Accommodation and Trains Between Important Stations.
irctc.co.in - Indian railway online reservation, train ticket booking
IRCTC users can either opt for I-Ticket or E-Ticket. I-Tickets are delivered to your address by courier. E-Tickets are more convenient since you can take a print copy of it from your computer. The cancellation procedures for the two are slightly different.
IRCTC has also introduced IRCTC Mobile, Railway Ticketing through mobile phones. You can start using it right away if you are a IRCTC user and have a Java enabled mobile phone or a smart phone with GPRS service activated on your mobile phone. Payments are made by credit card/cash card.
Indian Railways Reservation enquiries can also be done through "India Railways Passenger Reservation Enquiry" website online at indianrail.gov.in.

I have booked for a sleeper calss ticket from calicut to goa and two second class AC tickets back using the E ticket facility. But now I want to cancel the tickets and get back my refund. Unfortunately the payment was made from my Friend's account which is an NRI account and money cannot be refunded to an NRI account. It is very bad we dont get a link for IRCTC site when u want to book tickets from home between 8.00 am to 9.00 am on the tatkal opening dates. Probably all the travel agents might have blocked the site. Common man cannot get ticket unless he stands in the Q in the railway counter. Shame with Indian Railways.Re: website always down

Dear sir,It was found after booking an e-ticket from GKP to NDLS in 2557 SAPT KRANTI EXP for 16/12/2009 on 29/11/2009 that the amount(Rs3397/) for the same ticket debited thrice from my SBI account on 29/11/2009.My abovementioned ticket's Trans ID is 0163300099 and PNR No. is6432891075. irctc server often seems to be bogged down by a large number of requests. Until they add more capacity, try again is the name of the game.Re: irctc.co.in website is not operative

sir,I wanted to book a ticket for my friend through irctc.co.in to-day and wanted to pay by his SBI ATM debit card but I don't know what mistake I did that the payment could not be done and also this website is not being further opened. Please help me in this matter. Thanks you yours A.K.SINGH
