@ selva: last year it took 3 mths frm d date of interview ....so going by tht record breaking performance of IDBI .....i think this time it will take atleast 2-3 mths....i.e. end september or end oct...,nd most probably DIWALI tak good news aa gaye gaa....i.e. 5th of NOV.....!!!!!!

Hi Abhinav, U had said about the increase in seats of canara bank , do u have any information that when they ll notify it? i am more interested as i missed out central bank exam .Regarding idbi one of my executive friends in mumbai also told me that it ll go upto sep end .

@ anirban: actually all of us here r also confused abut this...i had a talk with HR and she told me final result will b based upon Written + interview +(medical only qualifying in nature).....but some people say that those who hv given medical r qualified....actually NO ONE knows d actual facts....all r gussess....so wait for final result....

FINAL result may b declare at the end of September (this has been told to me by HR office....whn i called thm up last week)

No Name guest believing and not believing is all individual choices there is no compulsion.
As far as posting is concerened I they are not changing place of posting/reporting prior to joining. but yes once you join in due course of time you can request for your chouce of posting.

@ prabhat: u must be knowing it but in case if u r not aware thn thr is also one good news (if u hv given Central bank exam)....CENTRAL BANK has also increased it vacancy frm 500 PO's to 1650 PO's....likewise IDBI has also increased it vacancy ....source is very close frnd of mine in HR Department.....

Hi Ram /all, thanks for posting the pay scale of Am.But doesnt it seem strange that the pre revised scale of Am was quite better than a PO now after revision of pay its lower than it ?We have always known that idbi gives better pay package but barring the increment part it doesnt seem to be true

Are they communicating for pending docs. on mail or, on phone. I have had a peculiar incident. first i Received one mail to complete the pendencies. submitted the same in week time. then again received mail and asked to submit required docs in given format. while i was arranging for the same i received one more mail mail that the docs. submitted is accepted and your pendecies are clear....keep this mail for future reference. ....could not understood the situation.. further i sent the required documents ... so i m also not sure about my status. ....................... first...

IDBI bank follows different pay system than other PSU banks. It includes variable pay component in gross salary & it also does not offer subsidized loans to the staff - loans at cost to the bank rate are offered to employees and officers.

Some new recruitment advts. have been issued in the last fortnight. Bloggers who are not in job should apply for those vacancies - Axis Bank, Bank of India, United Bank of INdia, just don't wait for IDBI final result. If not in banking sector, apply for Diploma in Banking & Finance course of IIBF, Mumbai. The papers are same as in JAIIB. If possible, apply for NSE's Certification in Financial Markets courses and AMFI certification. If you clear it will be an added advantage.

There was an advt in Oct 2009 for Managers/AGMs as well in the same advt where u had appeared for a written exam on Dec 27th for AM.
For Managers/AGMs there were 3 windows through which selection was to be done.
Window-1 - Interview and Results declared
Window-2 - Interview and Results declared
Window-3 - Never Opened
Window-4- IDBI only received applications. No interview till date.

As fas as Window -1 or 2 AMs are concerned, they are those candidates to whom IDBI has offered AM position in spite of they had applied for Managers. Offer means only a reccomendations, if the candidate is willing to take it up as a lower grade.
Now Waitlisted AM from Window-1 or 2 means- Candidates whose status is waitlisted for any future vacancy. Because merit/selected candidates have already got their offer letters.

@ dpk: d vacancy has been increased to 1500 frm 800 nd in delhi center d interview for open category has held btwn 2nd july to 6th july....thr were 4 center for interview.....so the shortlist candidate r 1:3 ratio.......the final merit list r yet to prepare......do read my previous post for more details.
